Our 2021 Food Expo was held on Tuesday October 26 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA and it was a remarkable day! We had 287 customer accounts, represented by over 700 people, that attended the expo this year and over 80 vendors! The vendor booths were set up in the spacious downstairs of the convention center, giving everyone ample room to move around and visit with each supplier to learn more about their products, make deals and save an incredible amount of money! Customers were able to book products out for 10 weeks, covering all of the upcoming major holidays. The first 4 weeks of shipping, the Immediate Ship period, started on Saturday October 30, 2021, and will end on Friday November 26, 2021. The last 6 weeks of shipping, the Regular Ship period, will start on Saturday November 27, 2021, and conclude on Friday January 7, 2022.

This event would not have been possible without the continued and loyal support from our vendor and supplier partners. The theme of our expo this year, Heros Welcome Here, honored all of the heroes from our supplier partners that showed up to work every single day during these past 18 months, to make sure the people of this country had food to put on their tables and feed their families. We held our annual vendor reception on Monday night, October 25, to honor our vendor partners and thank them for their support not only during the food expo, but throughout the whole year. 

In addition to our vendor community, the success of our food expo, year after year, would not be possible without the support and friendship of all our amazing customers. Each of these folks are heroes in our eyes as well, working harder than ever this year to ensure grocery store shelves were filled with products for their customers to buy and enjoy with their families. At the conclusion of the food expo, we held our customer and vendor appreciation dinner where we gave away four prizes to some very lucky customers! The prizes included tickets to a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game, a Pittsburgh Steelers football game, an 82” TV and our grand prize of a 5 night stay in the Florida Keys! We love being able to reward our customers and thank them for their business and loyalty. We truly view our customers as part of our extended Imler family and we were so thankful to spend the day with them, helping them save money and continue building their businesses.
