Imler’s Poultry wholesale customers can now pay their bills online!

Food Expo - October 27, 2020

Our 2020 Food Expo was held on Tuesday October 27 at PNG Field/Altoona Ball Park in Altoona, PA and it was a tremendous day! We had 238 customer accounts, represented by over 500 people, that attended the expo this year and over 80 vendors! The vendor booths were set up across the two floors of the stadium, giving our guests ample room to move around and visit with each supplier to learn more about their products, make deals and save an incredible amount of money! Customers were able to book products out for 10 weeks, covering all of the upcoming major holidays. The first 4 weeks of shipping, the Immediate Ship period, started on Saturday October 31, 2020 and will end on Friday November 27, 2020. The last 6 weeks of shipping, the Regular Ship period, will start on Saturday November 28, 2020 and conclude on Friday January 8, 2021.

This event would not have been possible without the continued and loyal support from our vendor and supplier partners. This year has been full of surprises and difficulties for everyone, but we persevered by sticking together and remembering why we do what we do – to help our customers put food on the tables of families throughout our region. We held our annual vendor reception on Monday night, October 26, to honor our vendor partners and thank them for their support not only during the food expo, but throughout the whole year. 

In addition to our vendor community, the success of our food expo, year after year, would not be possible without the support and friendship of all our amazing customers. Throughout the day on Tuesday, customers were treated to an “Imler’s World Famous Chicken Dinner” packed and ready to go with all the sides – a perfect meal for a chilly day! At the conclusion of the food expo, members of the Imler family drew from the bin of customer names for the 4 prizes we had to give away, including our Grand Prize of a 4 night stay at the Wynn Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas, NV! We love being able to reward our customers and thank them for their business and loyalty, especially during these unprecedented times. We truly view our customers as part of our extended Imler family and we were so thankful to spend the day with them, helping them save money and continue building their businesses.

Imler’s Poultry is so appreciative of all the support and loyalty from both our customers and suppliers and we are looking forward to another successful food expo next year on October 26, 2021.

Food Expo - October 29, 2019

Our Food Expo was held on October 29, 2019 and it was our best food expo yet! We had 272 accounts, represented by over 500 people, that attended this year and over 90 vendors! Our customers had an enjoyable day walking the show floor, making deals with the vendors, and saving money! They were able to book products out for 10 weeks. The first 4 weeks of shipping are immediate ship and started on November 2, 2019 and will end on November 29, 2019. The last 6 weeks are regular ship and will start on November 30, 2019 and will end on January 10, 2020. The total number of cases booked were absolutely phenomenal and our highest totals ever!

None of this would have been possible without the support from our vendor and supplier partners. Our customers were able to save a tremendous amount of money over the course of the 10 week shipping period due to the allowances and special pricing our vendors passed on to all the folks in attendance. We held a vendor reception on Monday night, October 28, to honor our vendors and thank them for their support not only during the food expo, but throughout the whole year. Our vendors are a huge part of our success and one of the reasons we are able to provide our customers with such high quality products.

In addition to our vendor community, the success of our food expo would not have possible without the support of all our amazing customers. At the conclusion of the food expo on Tuesday, all of our customers were invited over to the Blair County Convention Center for dinner and the Grand Prize drawings. Those customers in attendance were eligible to win a Yeti cooler, tumbler and lunchbox set, tickets to a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game with a one night stay at a hotel, a 65” TV and our Ultimate Grand Prize – a trip to New York City to see the ball drop in Times Square! This prize included a 4 night stay at a hotel right in Times Square and tickets to an exclusive party with a perfect view of the ball drop! We love being able to reward our customers and thank them for their business, not only at the food expo but all year long.
